Linguaschools started as a small project matching language school students with high quality, ‘hidden’ Spanish language schools. This has evolved into one of the leading networks of high-quality Spanish language schools in Spain and Latin America. Over this time we have never compromised on our initial philosophy: to offer an unforgettable experience by providing high quality Spanish courses in a unique cultural context. Linguaschools was set up by a former Spanish language school student and a spirited backpacker. Both wanted to share their passion for off the beaten path cultural experiences, realising that learning to speak the language is essential to enjoying local culture. Both also recognised that learning a language is also the perfect platform for a profound cultural immersion.
Language Certificate Intensive 10
The intensive 10 courses are taught in small groups, with students who have the same level of Spanish as you. You will work on all aspects of the language: grammar, conversation and vocabulary, listening and reading comprehension, and writing. Courses have a communicative character and will give you the confidence to use your Spanish in everyday situations. In choosing the intensive 10 you will normally be in a class with students following the Intensive 20 course. This requires more dedication and self study outside the actual lessons, in order for you to follow the pace of the group. If you are an absolute beginner we recommend that you attend one of the general intensive courses, combination courses or individual lessons. Classes generally take place in the morning. Depending on the season and destination, classes could be in the afternoon.
Semi-Intensive Spanish Courses
These high quality group courses are designed for people who are already living in Spain and have limited time available. They offer an engaging group dynamic and are cheaper than individual lessons.
Not everybody has the time to commit to an intensive Spanish course. Our semi-intensive courses are created for people living in Spain; for example, those working, doing an internship, Erasmus students and au-pairs. Learning in a small group provides a stimulating learning environment and lots of opportunity to converse. These courses have between 4 and 10 classes per week. Having fewer classes does not mean the classes are not intense. On the contrary, a dedication to self study outside of the actual lessons is required for your progression.

Requirements to get a Spanish student visa?
Before you schedule an appointment at the Spanish Embassy in your country there are a few documents you need to have ready. These visa preparation documents highly vary per nationality and sometimes even per state department of your country. See here a list of requirements that usually need to be presented.
• National visa application form
• Biometric pictures
• Passport with expiry date at least 6 months past the date you are applying for
• Health Insurance Letter from Spanish provider
• Medical Examination, following the current requirements of the Spanish Health Association
• Accommodation Letter
• Bank statement, showing that you can financially sustain yourself during your whole stay in Spain (this amount varies every year, contact us for the up-to-date requirements)
• Invitation and offer letter from a Spanish academic institution
• Visa fees paid
• Most of these documents need to be translated into Spanish by a sworn translator and legalized by the notary or Spanish authorities, depending on your country of origin.
