Universitat Abat Oliba CEU
The Abat Oliba CEU University has its origin in the University Centre Abat Oliba CEU, created by the San Pablo CEU Foundation in 1973 by means of and adscription agreement with the Barcelona University. It started classes in its first headquarter in the Pearson Avenue in Barcelona in 1974 and, since then, has trained more than 8,500 university graduates. In 1993, it moved to the Bellesguard Campus, and as Teaching Centre of Superior Studies Abat Oliba CEU, started teaching all of its degrees in Law and Business Management, as well as the first stage of the Economics degree. Ten years later, the new Abat Oliba CEU University is recognised by Law 20/2003, 4th of July, of the Catalan Parliament, creating two centres in Barcelona: the Social Sciences Faculty and the Engineering Technical College.
Masters Management and Communication in Social and Solidarity Entities
This master’s programme offers an -depth exploration of the dynamics underlyg business, society and the environment. The solidarity economy is the pot of convergence for associations, foundations, co-operativism, work placements for the disadvantaged, mutualism, ethical Fancing and fair trade; all of these are key instruments achieving the Sustainable development goals approved by the United Nations.
The goal of this master’s programme is to promote the concept of a socially responsible territory to develop new forms of social entrepreneurship, work placements for disadvantaged persons, social novation projects, the creation of corporate social responsibility departments and to foster development cooperation programmes.
This official can boast 14 years of experience promoting the solidarity economy and corporate social responsibility (CSR), and is aimed at fosterg efficiency the field of cooperative societies, NGOs and the management of development cooperation programmes.
Students will have the possibility of studying the programme onle, thanks to real-time connections to the classroom where the programme is taught, at the Faculty of Social Sciences at UAO CEU.

Requirements to get a Spanish student visa?
